Collection: John Kummer

I’m John Kummer, team owner of J. Kummer Motorsports. I’ve been involved in racing across multiple disciplines since I was a kid, with a lifelong passion for short course racing. In 2021, I was finally able to step into the sport myself and compete.

Today, I drive the #44 Pro Am SXS in the Champ Off-Road short course series. One of the things I take the most pride in is building and maintaining our race vehicles in-house, ensuring every detail reflects our standards and work ethic. Beyond the competition, I value the relationships built at the track and the sense of community within the sport.

Racing has always been about more than just performance for me—it’s about family. Watching my daughter join Youth SXS last year as a complete rookie has fueled my passion even further, creating unforgettable experiences and memories that make every race weekend meaningful.
